Annette Budd has proudly called Arapahoe County home since the early 1990s. She and her husband of forty years, Gary, experienced the joy of raising six children in Centennial. Today, they are blessed with eight grandchildren who are involved in the same type of community life that helped shape their own family. Their small, family-owned and operated business has served people from all over the metro area for almost thirty years. Annette has been deeply engaged in this community, building strong relationships and serving alongside her neighbors. Her faith in Jesus guides her commitment to serve others with humility, honesty, and compassion. Now it is time for her to step up again and lead the Clerk and Recorder's Office with the same commitment to hard work and responsiveness, ensuring it serves every resident with efficiency, transparency, and integrity.
Annette's mission is two-fold:
A growing number of people across the political spectrum are losing confidence in our elections. They are questioning whether their vote actually matters. This erosion of trust poses a real threat to the strength of our republic. Restoring integrity and transparency in elections is essential to make sure that every citizen knows their voice is heard and their vote truly counts. Annette will restore that trust.
The current appointment-only system isn't working for Arapahoe County residents. Annette will introduce a hybrid approach — keeping appointments for those who plan ahead, while welcoming walk-ins so everyone can be served in the manner that works best for them. She will make the website easier to navigate, and for those who don't use the internet, there will be friendly, helpful staff who promptly answer the phones. Government should work for the people — not the other way around.
